2002 Shiraz

Truly deep purple/red in colour, this wine displays complex aromas with ripe raspberry, blackberry, anise, spice, dark chocolate and vanilla with subtle hints of mint and earth.

The palate is multi-layered with silky texture, intense, sweet ripe fruit flavours that are supported by an excellent structure and full, long, supple and savoury tannins.

Approachable now, this wine has long term (20 yrs +) cellaring potential.

This was the first vintage made at our own winery.

"Concentrated but elegant, with plum and black cherry fruit laced with dried fennel and a touch of eucalyptus. Long, fleshy finish. Ready to drink now and over the next three or four years."
