The palate is intense with sweet blackberry and blueberry fruit and cedar spice providing excellent weight on the mid palate. In 1891 William Formby wielded his leading team of Clydesdale horses into action, planting the first 2 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon. Today his great, great grandson Guy Adams continues the family’s grape growing traditions, consistently leading the way through a mix of traditional and modern vineyard management and winemaking practices that enable him to produce the best possible wines from this famous vineyard.
