Brothers In Arms, the essence of Langhorne Creek, evolved from five generations of grape growing
tradition. The vines my great-great grandfather planted in 1891 led to the estate vineyard known as “Metala” vineyard, recognised as one of the most famous in South Australia.
The Brothers in Arms label, released in 1998 is rich in old vine fruit, some as old as 118 years! For
years one of the wine industry’s best kept secrets, Langhorne Creek is now a strong premium wine producer in its own right.
The “blood” that flows through the veins here is red ~ Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. This is red
wine country.
At Brothers in Arms, we put our heart into full bodied wine that is true to the estate and true to the region. Our estate wines showcase our quality fruit and reflect the spirit of our family tradition. Since 1998 we have achieved national & international recognition for our Brothers in Arms bottled beauties.
Please explore our cellar door and enjoy wines inspired by history!
Cheers, Guy Adams

A huge thank you to all those of you who came and supported us over the weekend at the
Perth Good Food & Wine Show. We had a great weekend and really enjoyed surprising
you with our wines.
One thing we were particularly pleased about was the acceptance of our Cabernet range,
Formby & Adams. We sold out of the 2006 Cutting Edge Cabernet Shiraz at lunchtime
Saturday and managed to squeeze the 2007 Leading Horse stocks out until Sunday morning.
As promised, we have put together an order form for West Australia only, using the pricing
from the show. Orders of a dozen or more will be shipped free of charge.
Click here to download the form and thanks again.

From the 4 wines we entered in the Korea Wine Challenge 2010 we have won a Gold for the 2005 No.6 Shiraz Cab a Silver for the 2007 Formby & Adams Cutting Edge (Pre-Release) and Seals of Approval for the 2005 Brothers in Arms Cabernet and 2007 Formby & Adams Leading Horse.

After spending the last few years trying to prove ourselves wrong, we now believe our 1891 vineyard is the oldest recorded planting of Cabernet Sauvignon on their own roots in the world. Read on.
