Our Crew

Guy Adams
Guy is our Leading Horse. A humble farmer by nature, Guy has become an accidental salesman and world traveller. While often seen at trade fairs in Asia and Europe, Guy is also happy on the property working on ways to make the business more innovative and efficient. A naturally astute palate has given Guy the advantage of having faith and clarity in the wine styles to be released under our Estate labels.

Liz Adams
Liz began her career as an early childhood educator but by pure accident found the business of wine more to her style. Whether driving a tractor at Vintage, managing warehouse stock or planning production, she is involved in all aspects of the business from the soil to the bottle.

The Kids
Myles Adams is our eldest son and has a head for technology. We have no doubt he will bring new thinking to the business in the future and keep the property at the forefront of IT.
Emily Adams is very much her father's daughter. Deep thinking, creative but considered in her ways, she has a beautiful nature and a knack with animals. She's pretty handy on the production line too!

Jim Urlwin
Our Winemaker Jim grew up in the Barossa Valley with wine always on the table has now been in the wine industry in some form or another for around 16 years. He started working in labs and cellars as a “cellar rat” and gradually worked his way up. Jim studied Winemaking at Adelaide University but really found learning on the job much more fulfilling. His first vintage was in 1997 in the Barossa Valley, followed by several in the Clare Valley before four vintages in McLaren Vale. Jim started at Brothers in Arms/Killibinbin in 2008 and has been honing style and techniques ever since.

Dylan Lomax
Assistant Winemaker Dylan, born and bred in SA spent much of his early years living in rural areas in the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. Travelling across Australia with family growing up allowed him to experience wonderful things and to develop a lovely, calm outlook on life. Dylan’s first vintage was in 2007 in nearby McLaren Vale and he then joined Brothers in Arms in 2008. He has enjoyed being part of small town with a close-knit friendly community and lived here among the vines in a house a stone’s throw from the winery for some time.
