2010 Arbiter Old Vine Shiraz
Sourced from 119 year old Shiraz vines, this wine is deep crimson in colour. Aromas of lovely dark fruits with chocolate and spice on the nose.
The palate is long and elegant with soft velvety tannins and a long finish. This wine has great potential for enjoying now or cellaring for up to 10 years.
Langhorne Creek enjoyed a stand out vintage in 2010 with ideal weather conditions. This allowed the fruit to ripen evenly generating fruity, deep flavours with excellent balance between the acidity and tannins.
The Arbiter Old Vine Shiraz has been sourced from the vineyards which own the oldest Shiraz vineyards in the Langhorne Creek region. Our winemakers have carefully vinified this small parcel of wine, only allowing it to be released when at its prime. The wine has been aged in French Oak barriques to allow it time to soften and develop plush, approachable tannins.
