Brothers in Arms

2001 Brothers in Arms Shiraz

Now with some age this wine is showing beautiful structure and soft deep rich fruit complexity over tones of plum and blackberry, with subtle cocoa and vanilla oakiness. The palate is rich, round and mouth filling with soft sweet flavours that balance the silky, round tannins. Great drinking now, but will cellar for at least another 8+ years.

This is a very good example of style. A lovely balanced, fruity palate; generous but supple with soft ripe tannins... Good weight overall.

This hearty South Australian Shiraz combines sweet berries, spices and coconutty oak in a ripe mouth–coating wine of good mouth feel and length with tannins in good balance.
