2018 No.6 Cabernet Sauvignon

Deeply coloured. This carefully structured Cabernet has blackberries, wild fennel and a delicate touch of red fruits.
A savoury palate with red currants and elegant tannins build to a lingering finish. Pair with steak and fragrant mushrooms.

Aromas of dense blueberries, cassis, green pepper spices.Juicy with a dense and ripe delivery. Combined with black currant, smoked meat and spices. A complex wine with potential for further aging. 93/100 2021 London Wine Competion

Sourced from a single-block, 13 months in French barriques, 15% new. House styling is all about big, traditional cabernet sauvignon and at least here the fruit exhibits blackberry and more obvious cassis as well. Thick with all its chocolate suggestions and rich tannins, it's a full-bodied mouthful. Old-school and many will love it because of that. 92/100 Tony Love James Halliday Wine Companion 2021
